The Red Brick Building team is excited to announce that Naomi Hunter, a Contemporary Dance practitioner and choreographer, will be offering a range of dance classes for all ages from 10th April 2017.
As a Bath Spa MA graduate, Naomi specialised in collaborative practise and multi-media performance and focussed her research on the way mankind effects surroundings. Naomi has spent the last two years touring worldwide performing for Arcadia, Lords of Lightning and SparkDance, as well as being invited to choreograph for renowned arts festivals in Malta.
Naomi has always felt that Dance should be seen as a gateway to activity. ‘Through learning to dance, so many other skills are acquired that can be utilised withing day-to-day life and learning other subjects. Not only is this, but throughout the ages, dance has been the things that brings tribes and communities together,’ said Naomi.
