Our community garden is a fantastic asset for everyone. We have hosted home-schooling groups, volunteering as well as groups from Mind, Orchard Vale and other local charities.

The garden is about caring for the environment and learning the value of growing food organically. Gardening has a whole range of health benefits including improving physical fitness and mental health….and the best bit is you often get to taste the delicious produce too!

We welcome new groups to help tend and nurture the plants – and harvest time is a time for sharing the wonderful food grown in the garden.

Come along on a Thursday to join our regular team of volunteers and learn new skills.

Bon Everson is our Community Gardener and, with her team of volunteers, also tends the flower beds outside the Red Brick as well as the Mill Stream Garden at the rear.

New volunteers are always welcome. Check out our Volunteer pages to see how to get involved.
