Haruka is an independent, slow fashion label established in Glastonbury in 2004 by Amanda Chambers.

Haruka moved to the Red Brick Building in 2022 after thirteen years beautifying Glastonbury High Street from two different stores. Haruka provides original, sustainable and natural clothing in inclusive sizes.

Amanda is well known for her high quality design and production of limited edition capsule collections, alongside curated vintage tribal pieces and eclectic handloom and woollen shawls. She has longstanding relationships with her producers in India and Nepal, who are all small, family businesses with conscious staff welfare. All Haruka clothing is ethically and personally produced.

If you would like to come and visit Haruka, Amanda is here most days and is always happy to welcome you. All clothes are on display and available to try and buy. There is never any hard sell or pressure, but there is lots of time to experiment and explore what works for you with the help of Amanda’s stylist advice if you want it. Haruka is the best secret clothes shop in Somerset. If you haven’t discovered it already, it’s definitely time you did 🤍✨
