Children’s Gardening
Hosted by Feed Avalon CIC
A hands on workshop where children and adults plant seeds, pot up and plant out a varitey of plants. There will be easy to grow edibles available, such as salad leaves and radishes. Plus, flowers that pollinators love, including those that have medicinal properties such as calendula. Advice and teaching will be on hand throughout the session.
At the end of the session, you will take away the potential plants to nurture, as well as a ‘What Next’ hand out with tips and recipes.
This workshop is free to attend, thanks to the Smart Communities Food Resilience grant.
