Food, Stories & Art
Part of our ‘Landscape: Flux & Flow’ exhibition for Somerset Art Weeks Festival
As part of Bridie’s Farm Open Day, and to celebrate the fruits of the land at harvest time, we will be making soup out on an open fire and sharing the differing versions of Stone Soup from around the world. Local Growers and the general public are invited to bring a little of their harvest to share to the pot, where there will be a chopping station set up so that people can join to collaborate in making the soup.
Vegetables generously provided by local farms, growers and projects.
11am: Come and join in the communal soup making. Please bring your harvests!
1pm: Share a lunch of stone soup and story telling with Julia Bedford, Ramona Belcher and guests.
2.30pm: Make art inspired by stone soup and contribute to a ‘zine. All materials supplied.
