About these courses:
Our work lives have become increasingly demanding, presenting us with ever more complex challenges at a near-relentless pace. Add in personal or family needs and it’s easy to feel constantly overwhelmed.
These 8 free courses for Somerset residents aged 19+ will teach you the secrets to plan systematically and take control of your work, organise yourself better, improve communication skills, and establish boundaries to help you find a balance in your life to reduce work-related stress and anxiety.
Delivered by an experienced community trainer in a small and friendly group setting, all the courses are suitable for those seeking employment, establishing or running a business or community project, the self-employed, employed, and creatives who are running busy households and looking to get back in to work.
Following the completion of any of these courses, learners will have built confidence to explore other learning or work opportunities. This may include the other courses on offer in this series to ensure a well-rounded set of skills.
Run by The Glastonbury Trust and funded by Somerset Skills & Learning
