Mel and Paul opened Bocabar Glastonbury in 2013 after their initial support of RBB fundraising through bar and event pop ups. Currently Bocabar employs about 25 staff who work together to ensure that customers always have a friendly, attentive, relaxed experience. Bocabar offers creative menu choices inclusive of all dietary preferences with a focus on local sourcing and affordability. A fun evening out is important too, hence an amazingly long cocktail list and some unusual local craft beers alongside joint music events with the RBB on most Fridays and Saturdays. Awards include Taste of the West Gold in 2016 and Best New Business of the Year 2015. Mel and Paul also still currently run their first venture, Bocabar Bristol, which opened in 2005.
