Managing Your Time and Workload

Wednesday 2nd February, 9.30am – 2.45pm

Assessing how you manage your daily activities effectively and whether you give the appropriate time to each aspect of your job is important when planning tasks and projects. Having a sense of how your time might be used more effectively will enable you to get on top of your workload and assist you in prioritising important tasks.

This course is free to attend. Eligibility criteria applies (please visit SS&L for eligibility criteria).

To book: Visit the Somerset Skills & Learning website. Limited spaces available.

About these courses:

Our work lives have become increasingly demanding, presenting us with ever more complex challenges at a near-relentless pace. Add in personal or family needs and it’s easy to feel constantly overwhelmed.

These 8 free courses for Somerset residents aged 19+ will teach you the secrets to plan systematically and take control of your work, organise yourself better, improve communication skills, and establish boundaries to help you find a balance in your life to reduce work-related stress and anxiety.

Delivered by an experienced community trainer in a small and friendly group setting, all the courses are suitable for those seeking employment, establishing or running a business or community project, the self-employed, employed, and creatives who are running busy households and looking to get back in to work.

Following the completion of any of these courses, learners will have built confidence to explore other learning or work opportunities. This may include the other courses on offer in this series to ensure a well-rounded set of skills.
