The Red Hot Jazz Club is very happy to present a familiar face for August’s show… Jazz Club organiser Sarah Griffiths will be singing with her band Sarah & The String Syndicate.

If you love classic swing tunes from the Great American Songbook, including Cole Porter and George Gershwin, played in Gypsy style alongside some great vocals, then join us for another fabulous night of jazz at The Red Hot Jazz Club.

Musicians Ben Modley, Sebastian Tesouro and James Rintoul also play regularly together as Serenados Tango, performing authentic Tango classics, as well as playing in various other guises in the Jazz and Latin scene all over the South-West, London and beyond.

Sarah has sung with some of the South West’s top musicians in her career. With a background in acting, Sarah loves to find the story behind the song and bring some theatre to the stage.

Sarah & The String Syndicate was formed because they all share a love of playing classic swing in their own style and because they have so much fun doing it!
