Our Community Garden is a fantastic asset for everyone. In the garden we have hosted regular volunteering sessions, gardening workshops, and home-schooling groups, as well as groups from Mind, Orchard Vale Trust and other local charities.

The garden is about caring for the environment and learning the value of growing plants and food organically. Gardening has a whole range of health benefits, including improving physical fitness and mental health. And the best bit is you often get to taste the delicious produce, too!

Our Community Garden is run by Adam Crofts (Head Gardener) and David Cypher (Community Garden Outreach Manager), along with their team of passionate volunteers. We also work closely with the team at Feed Avalon.

We always welcome new groups and volunteers to help tend to and nurture the plants. Harvest time is a time for sharing the wonderful food grown in the garden.

Come along to our weekly volunteer mornings on Fridays to join our regular team of volunteers and learn new skills. Or check out our Volunteer page for more information.
